I am a tutor which is engaged in teaching for 1 year where I've taught at a tuition center after completed my internship as a Junior Law Clerk for 6 months with a small law firm. I've taught Malay language and English Language in both Primary and Secondary schools, while Geography and History for Secondary School.

My teaching methods are diverted from spoon feeding culture and rote learning by memorization as the academic inclined system been emphasized by the school and other tuition center due to results-driven and social Darwinism demanded by the societies. My teaching methods are emphasized more on active learning. This means that I encourage debate, discussions, questions and answers for my language class while lectures, discussions, debates, questions and answers for History and Geography. Only this method will stimulate their learning as well as curing the students' boredom. Also, it’ll build their self - confidence, communication skills, problem solving skills, critical and creative thinking skills for empirical, analytical and logical reasoning where it’s an important soft skills for competition and innovations for changing traditional environment; so that the students can keep up with a fast changing environment due to integration towards globalization that’s changing societies into a specialist societies due to advanced technology impacted the global market where everything is impossible becomes possible, as traditional education based on textbooks and college educations with a paper qualifications are obsolete.

Besides, the active learning method will prepare students for their universities as well as to challenge themselves in learning new things and changing the status quo of well established theories and knowledge to discover something new. Even I'll insert a lessons on personal growth where students aren't learn in school textbooks. Although I'm new to the education industry, but I've a passion for teaching.
