Degree of Biotechnology (First Class Honours) from University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR)

currrently pursuing Masters of Biotechnology in University Malaya

 

* Have been conducting home tuition classes for the past 5 years for Chemistry, Biology and Sejarah
* Also past 2 years experience teaching Biology, Sejarah and Science at a tuition centre in Selayang
*Also focus on adult English classes specifically for Indians who want to improve their spoken English language skills
*Have experience teaching a student with Asperger syndrome as well, am patient with slow learners

 

I have had teaching experiences in both tuition centres as well as home tuition for the past 5 years for a variety of sciences and history subjects. Currently I am working on my Masters in Biotechnology as well hence am fully qualified to be teaching.

The special thing that I would be able to offer is explaining concepts in a very simple manner that enables students to understand without being too pressured to memorize. Once I am assured that they completely understand only then will I start asking them to apply the knowledge learnt by working on a lot exercises until they are able to memorize most concepts without trying to hard. The key is always understanding before trying to score in exams as spoon-feeding and memorizing will only leave them more confused than before.

Therefore, I only hope to help you or your loved ones as it gives me great pleasure teaching the very knowledge that I have enjoyed studying & teaching all this time.
