I'm a young lady who graduated from a reputable private university with first class honours two years ago. I've got straight A's (10A1, 2A2) in SPM last time so I'm well-versed with the local education system up to SPM level.
In term of music, I have ABRSM Grade 8 distinction in both Piano Practical and Theory of Music.

 

I have two years of part-time teaching experience. I have students ranged from age 4 to 40.

 

(GOOD THING ABOUT ME)
I'm fluent in English, Malay as well as Mandarin, so you need not worry about communication perplexities if you / your kids only fluent in your mother tongue. I love communicate with people, always try to understand their difficulties and share my opinions and give encouragement. I am passionate in teaching so you can expect to see improvements in a short period of time.

(TEACHING METHOD)
Basically I do not have a fixed teaching method. It depends on the student's performance, mindset, attitude, and background. However, I always believe that developing critical thinking is of utmost important. Therefore I like to give pop-quizzes to students and request their explanation on the answers. Peer discussion is also a good way of learning, but the maximum number of students in a class is 4. I will provide all teaching materials without extra charges but students should purchase own workbooks which I will carefully select and introduce to student as we progress.
