I am an enthusiastic, responsible individual with strong leadership, organizational and communication skills. I set high targets in my professional and personal goals and work hard to achieve them, proven by consistent quality achievements in both my academic and curricular endeavors. I approach two techniques to teach my students; problem based learning (PBL) and also mind-maps. I love mind-maps, not only for my own use in preparing presentations or mapping out a problem in a PBL way of teaching, but I love having my students create their own, either as a before, during, or after learning activity. What I love the most about mindmaps for student use is that, to me, they are one of the best formative assessments to use in order to see what students really understand and exactly how they understood it. In other words, it helps students get beyond "I have to know this" and gets them to "I can think about this". And the only way students can get better at organizing and thinking about concepts is to organize information and think about concepts, which, in my teaching session, means making at least one concept map per subject, with students mindmapping different ways or with a different focus in mind each time. I strongly believe that it will help them to understand the most important parts of their subject that they should capture in order to master the subject. It also without doubt helps the students to memorize with ease.
